Hi Gang,

Been quoting several of the typical Pantera part shops
to have my 74L engine compartment smoothed out for a
show look. Two of them (in So. Cal) have come back and
said that they would "reform" the sheet metal to get
that smooth look. What are they talking about? I
thought they would simlpy file down the welds spots,
fill in the low spots with metalized bondo, spend many
hours sanding ...and call it a day. Reforming sounds
vicious! Also trying to figure out what a job like
this
should cost? I have quotes all over the map. 

Advise appreciated.
