I'm not the expert on AC, but what I do know is:
rotary compressors don't have a sump to hold oil, like the OEM unit did, so an hour's suction with a vac pump is enough to get the oil out of the system. Russells makes both 37 degree and 45 degree fittings. Bulkhead fittings are a neat idea, but its up to you to match the angles. Commercial hoses will be 45 degree. Cheers- J DeRyke
