Well, why should I 'spect that these are easy to find..... my difficult
journey continues, one step at a time, closer to a new SVO shortblock.....!


I need a source for hipo 289 or Boss302 rods....  These are some sort of
special deal. Part number is left over from the GT40 program. Thick shells,
aprox .075" thick when standard bearings are about .040" thick. STD journal
size...

I've tried Summit and PAW. Latter said that they could get them but I
seriously question that..... but may have to order and try....

Bearings are marked C5FE-6211-B, parts book sez C30Z-6211-M.

Figured I'd check with the forum and see who has what laying around!
