Hiya Asa Jay,
Well thanx for your reply.... glad u'r not mad at me.... but i couldn't
resist...
the fact is..... I have the same problem... after getting brand new water
tanks.... new Fluidyne radiator....new green and gold line tubing....
everything done perfectly...... my gauge still reads at the max (230) in
traffic and one notch below on highway. I don't understand!!! I got the new
radiator especially because of that and my old one was an aluminum heavy duty
one as well. Shucks... so I asked around and i think it was Bobbie Byers
who told me sometimes it's a problem with communication between the Italian
gauge and American sending unit... he told me to get a certain resistor.
Haven't done that as yet.. too busy on the Ferrari at the moment : ) I have
not clue if that's really the prob. or not... but it's worth a try.
xo Best regards,
Laurie
