I've search the web for info on cryo hardening, and it's pretty impressive. 
They claim a huge reduction in cylinder wear, and about 5% more HP (which may 
mean less heat). It looks like a 351 block would be about $250 + to have 
done. I found the following sites:

and there are others. But I can't find anyone in Southern California. 

If anyone has direct experience with this, or knows where it is being done in 
Southern Cal, I'd appreciate their input.
