Well.....I'm Legal again...finally fixed the no blinking
blinkers......Got alot of advice ,but it seems that my problem was
somewhat different than most of the people I talked with thought.The
general consensus was probably the flasher.I thought so too.I was able
to get one from a foreign parts store.It wasn't the Bosch @$50,but an
exact match from germany for $25........I rushed home ,hoping against
all hope, that it would do the trick......Plug it In.....turn the
key....slowly turn on the blinker..........nothing  except the same old
Click nothing else.....Well now I'm thinking   ...       Damn it ..
what now.I have already tugged on the wires and hoped for some sign of a
loose connection...I start reaching under the dash to try and get to the
hazard switch, and the wiper switch pops out.I'm thinking ,Ok now I can
see in there.I turn the key back on and while I'm tugging at the wiper
switch to get it out of the way to see better, the damn blinkers start
blinking .Whooooooo Hooooo
I'm thinking (well not really thinking, more like Woooo Hooooingout
loud)
You'll never guess what the problem was.......the terminals were
corroded (like duhhhhhh,That's never happened before on a 26 yr old
car....) Anyway couldn't get it out to service it properly, to tight a
fit for my hands (size 15 wedding ring).So I get out the trusty brake
cleaner and while rotating the switch I  blast the terminals one by
one.then I get out the ole battery terminal cleaner spray junk and give
it good What Fer...then get the curved hemostats and give each
connection a little wiggle an tug.........Dhooooooo.....should have
turned the key off .......Damn
I blew the  fuse big time....No prob I stick in a new one, turn the
key,the fans come on..... whew....... dodged another one...then the fans
shut off.....Damn!! what now.......You'll never guess.........The fuse
terminal was corrroded.....Whadda you know.I cleaned and sanded all the
fuses prior, but didn't do the terminals.Go figure
Oh well..... I'm getting  a-ton-o experiance.And as the Whipper Snappers
like ta Say " I't's All Good  Bay bay",
