SS hard lines are a good idea, as long as you have a good flaring tool and
trust your own work. SS tubing is seamless so you needn't bother with
double-flares (they're impossible to do on ss anyway). Double-flares were
invented to compensate for cracking in the brazed steel tubing that all US
cars used for brake lins since the '30s. SS work-hardens during the flaring
or bending process, so there's no going back if you make a little mistake;
cut the bum flare off the line and start over. Good luck- J DeRyke
