Make sure the new windshield isn't to thin (if it's an aftermarket one).
Use new rubber.
Put soap on so it will slide in place (the soap that's left will go away
when you wash the car later).
Put an electric wire inside the rubber so you can pull the lip of the rubber
to its right position from within the car.
With healthy rubber you should not have to do anything more to keep the
water out.
Your wife can do it. I got help from my mom! :)
