This weekend my husband, my little Boo and I drove to Dane WI to meet
Cory and check on the status of my car. Cory is almost done, with
exception of working on the linkage for the new injectors and figuring
out how to get air cleaners on the engine without cutting the deck lid. I
am glad he is working on it, as I wouldn't have any idea where to start
to even explain the problems to someone, much less do the work. I took
some pictures and sent them to Mike Dailey to see if he could add them to
his visitors web page. I have a 2.1 megapixel camera and the digital
images are very large, so I am not sure he wants to take up that much
space on his server for me, I can only hope. I asked Cory about the "rear
wheel" horsepower of the engine he was putting in and told him about what
folks on the Forum had said. He showed me a printout from a dyno (?,
sound like an animal to me) where he showed a Navigator (he said the
engine was similar to mine) engine without any fancy "add ons" getting
over 400 horsepower at the rear wheels. While I don't know horsepower
from smorsepower, I did see a print out with the numbers he was talking
about. He told my husband that the secret was where the factory sets the
"cut off" (cut offs are jeans to me). He assured me I would be very
impressed with performance. My husband simply reassured Cory that all I
care about is the fact that it is red.

regards, Charlotte..maybe moving to Denver or San Francisco, as my
husband has gotten very bored with Omaha. although we both love the
people here.
