It's Official !!!  The Track Event during the POCA Fun Rally is returning 
to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway for 2001.  The date has been set for 
Friday, April 27, 2001.  It's the 1.8 mile Road Coarse next to the big oval 
track.  It has a new configuration and has been recently totally 
re-paved.  No need to cross the track as the pit area is now outside the 
track area.  For those of you that took the driving school at the Las Vegas 
Motor Speedway prior to the May 2000 Open Road Challenge, that is the track!

Very soon I'll update everyone with all the details.  We are planning on 
sending a small delegation of Track
Committee members on a mission to check out the track and there will be a 
full report.

The people have spoken and the event has been moved to Vegas.  We're 
expecting a great turn-out.  Start making plans!  Let's get some tech 
sessions planned and make sure we're all ready.

I'll update everyone on the sponsors as soon as the list is finalized.  I'm 
looking forward to a great event.  Stay tuned.....
