I have installed the long throw cylinder with the stock clutch and had no
problems. The pedal pressure does increase somewhat.

Subject: Long-throw Clutch Slave (Again)

> The list feedback last week on long-throw clutch slaves was excellent and
I had planned to upgrade to one. Then I talked to Marino at Pantera East.
Marino indicated that the long throw slaves were excellent with diaphram
pressure plates but he was not confident that they would work on standard
pressure plates. His fear was that the extra motion of the long throw slave
might move things too far and accelerate wear or break something.

pressure plate, I currently don't have the option of a diaphram pressure
plate. So the question is: do the long-throw slaves create potential
problems with 'long' style pressure plates? Any experience out there with
that combination.
