To subscribe to the forum, send a message to:

listserv@realbig.com (note:  no "e" at the end of listserv)

with the words

subscribe detomaso George Frescura (well, that's what George would write--the 
rest of you mugs would of course use your OWN name!)

in both the subject line and the body of the message.  The list software 
takes care of everything else (usually)

If you're already subscribed under a given e-mail name, and attempt to 
subscribe again from the same account, it will have no effect.  If you have 
two addresses and you subscribe under both, it will of course result in you 
getting mail to both accounts.

If you are currently subscribed and the e-mail gremlins suddenly prevent you 
from getting any mail (seems to happen to about 5% of us each month--it's 
happened to me several times), send a message to

listserv@realbig.com

with the words

set detomaso mail ack

in the subject line and body of the message.  Dunno why this works, but it 
does!
