Dennis, i thought i'd write and let you and anyone else know about the most incredible car show 
and gathering i experienced up in San Fran when i lived there for 2.5 years while at school.  
sometime in August the town of pleasanton hosts the good guys street rod nationals at the 
fairgrounds which is from my understanding the biggest car show on the west coast...but what is 
interesting is that the down town of pleasanton, which resembles Mayberry USA, is closed off to 
anything newer that 1974...anything 74 or older can park on each side of main street as a informal 
car show and the city allows cruising up the middle of all of the parked cars...i was sitting up, 
sleepless in phoenix, and read a welcome to San Fran...all i can think of is that sea of cars in 
august plus blasting up PCH by half moon bay...
