With either wheel, you are replacing rubber with cast aluminum, so your ride
will get a bit firmer, since some of the springing comes from the tire cases.
I believe the 17s are more apt to do this. With either 16 or 17" wheels, the
first thing you'll notice is how nice they look. The second thing is how
wimpy the stock brakes look inside those huge shiny wheels. All aftermarket
brake systems fit the 17" ones while some will not fit 16" wheels. Beyond
this, it's how the wheels appear to your eye. Good luck- J DeRyke
