| Subject: | Experience with Edelbrock Torker |

I'm looking for a manifold to modify for an EFI. The Edelbrock Torker is half
to a forth the cost of others, and I can get a used on for under $100. The
Torker is spec'd at 3000 to 7000 RPM by Edelbrock, which is perfect for my
goals, but it doesn't seem to be a well liked manifold.
Does anyone have good or bad experience with a Torker? if so, with what
cam/heads/carb?
The recommended manifolds all seem to be 4000 to 8000 RPM manifolds, and may
not buy me as much between 3000 and 6500 where I want to have HP.
Also, the runners on the Torker are closer to the horizontal. I don't want my
nozzles pointing towards the stagnation areas on the floors of the intake
ports. I think the Torker may be better in this respect (i.e., I can point
the nozzles more towards the valves vs. the floors) than the strip-dominator,
vapor, ect.
