Speaking to a close freind of the owner of the Viper I was told that " he spent
a fortune, dialing in the suspension, and the engine has had alittle work"
I saw Greg Esachoff's(sp) 700hp car gain zero along the half mile straight, I
think that indicates how stock it was!
However, equipment aside, the car will not go fast without a good driver!
so good equipment or not, he deserves the credit for the win. He is obviously
very skilled.
One of the race instructors that rode passenger, commented to me about how
fast the Viper went around turn 8 in a practice session, it maintained 140mph, my
personal best around that turn is 130mph, with very high pucker factor! :-)
cheers
JP
