Hi Mark
You should have looked at your friend with a blank stare and told him that
you felt terrible that he was so deprived.
:)
This IS about more than a saving a few ounces it is about saving a few
ounces of unsprung weight. Which directly is attributable to the coolness
factor or CF. Yes I could defiantly save more weight if I would eat less
stuff but that wouldn't help the CF and wouldn't be nearly as much fun.
Those of you who know me ,know that Lynnette feeds me well.
Somewhat more seriously, I do pay much more attention to un-sprung weight
than sprung weight. Weight is one of my considerations for tires/wheels
,brake , hub and suspension parts.
I guess I am a funny mix, I really don't care much about the paint and body
work. I would buy a $3500 ring and pinion so I could pick up top end BEFORE
I would spend the cash to make the car shine. Not much of audience on the
straight away to my house.
Nolan
PS the shooting flames out the back is for when there is an audience.
:)
