I run a 658 HP to my rear wheel ex Trans-Am Roush MUSTANG in GT-1 with =
the SCCA. It's a dry sump and takes 16 qt. of racing oil. Their is a =
little belt on the 3 stage oil pump, if this pump goes their goes a 35 =
thousand dollar race motor. I have a huge red oil pressure light that =
will come on if the pressure drops, I run around 80 LB's of oil =
pressure. This cog belt is checked each and every time I run the race =
car . Makes lots of HP but I don't think it's worth the risk to run this =
type of setup for street driving. The other problem would be where do =
you put the oil tank with the cooler in a street Pantera. I would =
seriously think about doing this for a street car, you can make lots of =
HP with a stroker that will hold together for street driving. Ask the =
DAWG about a street strip stroker W just don't ask him about the =
warrantee........ :)=20
