You miss the point, my tattooed friend, John Holmes... and with a name like 
that 
I can see why....
the idea is not to have the kids chaperone their drunken elders... the idea 
is that 
they have their own activities, with supervision.. such as movies, arts and 
crafts, arcade games, swimming or pool activities as weather permits, or 
activities 
offered at the MGM.. geez.. I just made up the whole itinerary... then 
evening 
buffets at hosting hotel and maybe even dances for the teens... by that time
parents should be sober...
See..... it's an option for those who have created those little creatures who 
will be
our future Pantera enthusiasts... this way, children have a chance to 
vacation too,
and parents don't have to worry about infringing on the rights of 
grandparents, neighbors, and unsavory baby-sitters... and can still partake 
in the yearly event.  Some people only get limited time off and if they spend 
it without the children, 
the poor kiddies never get a chance to get away, unless you are able to ship 
'em off to summer camp... but these are our JR POCA members, don't you think 
they should be part of the VEGAS too..?????  Mr. Holmes.. it's time for you 
to 
think BIG too.

I am sure this group has great kids.  I have met some of them (Dan Miller's, 
yes
they act way better that him, Char had done a great job).   However do you
really want them exposed to this crowd and an open bar.  I am one of those
tattoo coverd, burbon drinking guys that is really not for public/child
consumption in this type of setting.  Some other folks are worse than me!!
