Other than the International Automotive Appraisers Association is there
any other accreditation procedure or group to belong to so that one can
insure a fair and accurate appraisal of their vehicle for insurance
purposes? I had my car appraised for $150.00 and I swear my daughter new
more about cars than this bozo did. It was so bad I had to have him redo
it because in the event of a loss I'm sure my insurance company would
have had good grounds to litigate my claim. There were more than 20
different items stated as original that were not. When did Panteras ever
come with Billet Specialties wheels? I had the ORIGINAL wheels and
Michelin tires with Detomaso lug nuts in storage at the time of
appraisal. Do these guys have to go to school somewhere to be able to
call themselves appraisers? If anyone has any info I'd appreciate either
online or off. Lets say i wanted to be an appraiser how do I become one?
I know Panteras are somewhat rare but with the internet today there is
no reason for such blatant errors.
Thank you and happy holidays to all!
GEORGE
