George, as far as I can tell, all it takes is a business license in CA. and maybe an ad in the Yellow pages. Thats why I have a hard time getting excited about "appraised value"- appraised by whom? A very knowlegeable person like Gary Hall might appraise at one value and your bozo at a much different one, and who's got the inside track to the insurance company?
