Subject:Roller Lifter - LIfe Expectancy

Anybody care to comment on the life expectancy of roller lifters and the
associated hardware with that setup in the clevland? If you are running
them can you comment on;

Rpm range you utilize?
Solid or Hydraulic versions?
Max lift of camshaft?
What rocker arm types you use?
How long or how many miles on them?
Brand name if available?
How often do you need to service and/or adjust them?

As with all things there seems to be a few schools of thought on using them
in a street motor. Even though they are used by the manufactures, for cost
reasons, are the aftermarket versions dependable enough to run on the
street/strip?

Thanks.
