Thanks for the info! That might solve part of the problem but I'm not sure how much.
There needs to be a custom really short housing that turns the water outlet up 90 degrees
from the intake manifold. As long as it's custom, it might as well turn towards
the water tank. There's enough room for the thermostat. For some reason, the SVO
piece was extra long (and it wasn't a gentler 90 either). Dennis Quella told me he
gets hoses that have a special kink in them and uses a 90 (vs. a 45). Maybe his
90 is shorter than the SVO piece? Luckily, all the big stuff fits!
