Hello Everyone.....

As I mentioned a couple of days ago.. I saw a Pantera for sale ( On
Consignment ) in Redding, California on the way home from Oregon. It was
directly off Interstate 5, sitting outside in the lot.
Below you will find the info on the car, and contacts. I'm sorry that I did
not get the serial number, but I'm sure Superior Classics can provide that
if you are interested.

The seller is way off on the price, but if you can contact him directly,
hopefully you can talk some sense into him.

Good luck.....

It is Red.....1974 ?

It had the following equipment...I only got a short look as it was late in
the day....

1) Stock late 73 body...outside gas filler door.
2) Round 72 "bumperetts" in front, and late 73/74 full type bumper
rear...(very weird)
3) Front side marker lights are "slit" rectangular type, and the rear
appeared to be blank.
4) Euro style antenna on roof.
5) Late style "single pod" dash, and interior.
6) Late "English letter" gauges.
7) Stock 351 C
8) Type 2 ZF
9) Trunk liner.
10) Stock deck lid shocks, that do not work.

All equipment appeared to be there and in reasonable condition. It has some
light to medium rust in the front trunk, front valance, and in the engine
bay,
and lower frame.
It has poor paint, and may be a cheap respray. It does not appear to have
any heavy body damage.

The salesman says it runs good.
It is on consignment from a owner who lives in Canada.

The salesman...Tommy Price....said the owner was being..."unreasonable" as
to the
price of the car, and how he should sell it.
He said the owner was "talked into by a friend" in asking $45 k !!! When
I laughed
...the salesman said "I know...I think it should be $10K" !!! The salesman
said the
owner was being "difficult". He contacted the owner late the next day, and
said the owner
"reduced" the price to $35k ! The salesman said he was tired of dealing
with the owners
high prices, and wanted him to pick the Pantera up ASAP !
They don't have a good attitude on selling it ...but they were accommodating
in showing
it to me.

In my "unprofessional" estimate.... the car is worth from $12 to $19k
depending on
how extensive the rust is, the ZF condition, and if it runs as the salesman
says.
