Dear Sir/Madame:

We urge you to support the current California Smog law that exempts
Classic vehicles 30 year old or older from emission testing.

This position should be adopted for several reasons, one of which is
that it is extremely difficult to find parts for cars this old.

Another reason is that the history of classic automobiles can be
preserved.  There are so few of these vehicles on the road that the

emissions impact of them is negligible.
