I recently found a good book that I wanted to share with you. It's a 
compilation of all the HotRod magazine articles over the years devoted to 
small block ford engines. It has some really good articles from the 70's 
and 80's on clevland and windsor motors. There is even a reference to some 
performance modifications made by Hall Pantera to a motor, in one of the 
articles. A good resource.
