DeTomaso Mailing List: January 2001, Message #236

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the Forum, but not new to Pantera
ownership or racing.  Some of you may remember me as
the youngest Team Pantera Racing member to complete an
open road race event (may '98).  I rebuilt and painted
my Rosso red '73 De Tomaso Pantera from boxes and
raced it once at the Silver State Nevada while I was
still going to college.  I graduated in June and have
relocated to Northern California.  

I also understand our esteemed leader (Dennis
Antenucci) has also just recently moved back to the
Bay Area himself (thanks Dennis & Larry Stock for all
your help in the past)and I look forward to seeing
many of you on line soon.  

I am currently building a dedicated race motor just
for the Silver State race in September. I expect the
windsor based motor should develop 600 HP and be
capable of 200 Mph speeds with a taller gear. I just
completed installing Wilwood race brakes, a full roll
cage and fire suppression and should have my fuel cell
in place by the end of this month.

I will be ready for September.
