As I was trying to degrease my steering rack for a fresh coat of paint, I 
couldn't.  I seemed after I finished wiping it down with laquer thinner 
there would always be a little oil on it.  Looked it over carefully and 
found two little problems.  First is a split boot.  This subject has been 
beaten to death and I don't need any advice about it.  The trw part number 
does not show up in the trw replacement catalogs so is not easly avaliable 
from local stores.  My rack boots have eight ribs, with no part number on 
them.  G3 is the only markes on them.  The other place the rack is leaking 
is at the pinion seal.  Can anyone tell me where to source a replacement and 
how to do it?
