Nolan -
Thanks for the idea to stroke the Cleveland as long as it is already apart.
I like the concept. . .
Does anybody have an idea where I can get a stroker kit (crank, pistons,
rods)?
Also, I was looking thru an old SVO catalog in the "Engine Building Tips and
Specifications" section.
It says: " . . . cylinder heads for the 351C/351M/400 engines have a water
outlet passage in the combustion face, wheras 289/302/351W heads have a
water outlet passage in the intake manifold face of the head. Heads can be
interchanged. . . if provision is made fo appropriate water passages."
It then goes on to say that 302/351 SVO Aluminum heads produced before 6/85
bolt directly on to the Cleveland. Heads produced after 6/85 only require
two 3/4" holes to be drilled in the combustion face for coolant flow.
Does anybody have experience with this?
