I have been told that I shouldn't run a gear drive with a solid roller cam.
The reason stated was that the harmonics of the crank and cam can cause the
cam to break. The cam isn't real radical, and uses medium weight springs
(i.e., 150 lbs closed, 366 lbs open).

Has anyone had a failure with a gear drive & roller cam?

Ken
