Chuck,
First things first. Rarely will you ever pay too much for a Detomaso model.
Give it a bit of time and you will nearly always recoup your money.
The Matchbox you got is the standard fare Pantera. There are about 18
versions of just this one model. Mint with the original box can run as high
as $25. Mint with no box can average $20. The model was built in 1975.
