Speaking of EFI, be aware that Edelbrock sells aftermarket EFI systems for lots of different cars, and a note in their instructions says, "Do NOT run a geardrive cam with a knock sensor- the noise they make is often picked up by the knock sensor which then retards the timing, reducing the power output." Since Edelbrock also sells gear drives, this speaks volumes (pun intended!) as to the noise these things produce. Cheers- J DeRyke
