Hi All,
The Viper Club of New Mexico has called us a bunch of wimps and I'm not going
to stand for it!!!
A bunch of Vipers are going to the track at Sandia Motorsports Park on
Albuquerque's West Mesa on March 24th for a day of hot lapping. They've
issued a challenge to Pantera owners across the Southwest to meet them at
the track to settle once and for all who has the fastest cars. They say were
a bunch wussies. Let's prove them wrong once and for all.
The event will be held under the auspices of Southwest Motorsport, our highly
respected local road racing club. They'll be the official timers and
stewards, and will supply the necessary corner workers, tech and grid crews.
Their judgement in this winner-take-all shootout will be final.
In the interest of ensuring that there will be no damage to precious sheet
metal, no wheel-to-wheel racing will be allowed. Cars will be spaced around
the track and passing will be either limited or not permitted, depending on
the judgement of the Chief Steward and the participants.
C'mon guys and gurls, we can show those front-engine pansies that Panteras
still rule! Let's meet the challenge and kick some tail. Let's really show
them what happens when speed and style converge.
Here's an opportunity to drive your car as fast as you wanna go, under
controlled conditions that ensure the highest degree of safety and excitement.
Please email me for full details.
Jeff Garvin, #2470 Vintage Racer, Albuquerque, NM
