well, the NASCAR race was fun.  The Citgo sponsored car (#99) was out in 
the first lap (hit the wall), but still fun.

As for the new track, when NASCAR is in town, the track doesn't look the 
same!  The new road course was turned into the Purple and Brown parking 
lots!  The Heliport was also set up in that area.  So, I didn't get a good 
look at the track.  I took a couple pictures that I'll send to those 
interested (kinda looks like a parking lot!).  There is a new building in 
the area!  It was being used as a control tower of sorts for all the 
helicopter traffic (complete with bright-orange wind-sock Mike).

the track surface itself looked great.

this week is slacker registration week!  DaWg.... :) ..?  NOW IS THE 
TIME.  Time to search the archives for all the votes for moving the event 
to the LVMS!!!  All you voters should be registered by now!  If those of 
you on the fence have any questions, let me know and I'll try and find
