DeTomaso have undertaken several other projects, which may or may not be 
phantom in nature.  One concrete venture is the assembly of a 
Russian-designed SUV.  Apparently the parts are being made in Russia and sent 
to Italy for assembly.

The Qvale project seems to be doing reasonably well, although the car has met 
harsh reviews in the press.  Whether DeTomaso ever makes another sports car 
is a matter open to conjecture, although apparently they displayed an updated 
Guara at the Geneva car show recently.

I don't know but I do suspect that DeTomaso is paid some sort of royalty for 
each Mangusta made....
