Subject:Kevlar Clutch Linings?

All,

I know that some of you have gone to the kevlar lined clutch discs, either
one side or both.... I went with a one sided version for whatever reason,
and now have a question.

Now that you have driven on these for a while, have you noticed the
characteristics of the clutch changing at all????

Mine was great for a while as it broke in, but also at the same time,
started exhibiting more "chatter" upon engagement in first gear. Not all
the time, but if you don't get the rpm's just right and the pedal action
just right... it chatters and makes life embarassing.... It is almost
like when my motor mount was busted... but I replaced it..... and the pilot
bearing.... so am questioning if anyone else has noticed this as a
characteristic of the kevlar.

Other than this, I love the way it catches and works! A very positive
feeling clutch!

THanks,
Steve
