Are we sure the alternator is rotating in the right direction? Flat-belt
drives reverse the rotation from that of vee-belts, so if all you did was
change pulleys on a stock alternator, its going the opposite way. It'll still
charge but I'm told the brush is biased in one direction and I'm not sure how
long it'll work, or how well. Something to check- J DeRyke
