Hello
My roll cage is at the powder coaters getting pretty. It is amazing how
in-expensive powder coating is. The complete cage, Front and rear
stiffeners and under car stiffeners are only $150. How do they do that? It
has turned out so nice that the rest of the car doesn't look so cool.
I have found a company that specializes in water jet cutting that can cut
the 2 U's in the rear glass for the bars that go into the engine
compartment. $50! Again, how so inexpensive? Right now we are searching for
the perfect donuts to go around the bars and seal to the glass.
Can someone that has seen many of the vendor offerings, tell me which rear
window seal is best? Or are they all from the same source? Any suggestions
on or off list would be appreciated.
I am going to compromise on the first generation Fuel injection. I have
everything except the crossram manifold. Right now I want to buy wheels and
tires and drive the car. So the cross ram will wait. I am going to add
injectors to my strip dominator manifold and use a 4 barrel throttle body.
If anyone has gone this route, please write to me. With the recent updates
from Thomas, this may turn out to be a good long term injection solution for
me.
Take care,
Nolan
