I'm thinking that I saw a post related to using brighter bulbs in the Veglia
instruments in the central Pantera console. Is that right?
If so, does anyone know a part number or amp / watts rating?
Also, I've noticed that the lenses of those gauges get some condensation on
the inside after the console warms up. It's not as bad since I took the
ammeter out of the circuit, with the resulting decrease in temperature of
that panel. I have taken out the top gauge, which is oil pressure in mine.
There is no evidence of any corrosion visible inside the gauge thru the light
bulb mounting hole or on the gauge face. I let air blow thru the light bulb
hole for several minutes, using my air compressor. I didn't get any
impression of any water in the gauge.
Is this simply from the gauge face glass being cold compared to the inside of
the console, which is heated by the coolant passing below it? It is
noticeable in the top two gauges only.
Thanks,
Jim Oddie
