Hey folks --

Just wanted to take a moment & introduce myself to the Pantera Community. My name is Paul Staskowski & I just joined the club & signed on as the representative for N.Y. I've only owned my Pantera for about a year now, but I wanted one for 30!! Like so many others, I fell in love with the styling (classic!) & engineering (pretty much bulletproof). Okay, so I was only 10 at the time, but my parents were both born in Detroit & as a result had a motorhead for a son!!

I've been reading & sometime contributing to the Bulletin Board since I bought my car last Spring, & as a result, I feel as if I know some of you already. Please feel free to contact me, I'm an aircraft mechanic by trade, so I've got a pretty good feel for things mechanical. I was tech editor for the local BMW CCA chapter for several years (not bragging, like I said, just a motorhead I guess!).

I'm located in the small town of Oriskany Falls (about 50 mi. ESE of Syracuse/20 mi. SSW of Utica). If there are any other enthusiasts in the area (clubmember or not) & you want to get together for a ride some weekend, just call! (315-893-7703 or e-mail stosh17@citlink.net) I'll be at the Norwich Car Show on Memorial Day weekend (5-26 & 5-27), the Pantera took home a 2nd place trophy last year, who knows how we'll do this year. It's just a lot of fun to talk w/people about the car & share it with so many other fellow enthusiasts! Stop by if you get the chance, & if you want to participate in the show let me know, I'll send you a registration form. It would be great to have our favorite marque displayed amongst the other British & Italian cars.

BTW, many of my friends call me "Stosh" (with a name like Staskowski, who would figure!), so if you find that easier to remember, feel free.. I'm flexible!

                                                                                    Keep the shiny side up!

                                                                                                    Paul
