Before y'all get too carried away with your tape measures & decide it can't be done, bear in mind that Gary Hall used to offer 3-piece 16" wheels in which there was an extra drop-center in the rim. The lower a-arm pivot studs actually rode inside the inner tire bead and rim edge. This allows much wider tires & wheels than you would think possible, if you're measuring 15" Campys and trying to scale them up. It only works for large dia wheels though- 15" are too small to fit the stud inside. Perhaps Marino used this simple concept with his new billet rims?  Cheers- J Deryke
