John,
As someone who purchased thier car near San Francisco CA, and drove it
back to Spokane WA, and the very next summer drove it to Las Vegas and
back, I'd say drive it home.
700 miles per day seems like a breeze in the Pantera. It's comfortable,
fairly quiet if the car has the stock exhuast system and is just so darn
exciting to drive if you take the right route.
