This is typical of Panteras in which the rear suspension & frame have begun
to collapse. Your rear wheel alignment may be compromised, too. About all you
can do is assemble some big c-clamps and have at it, knowing that when you
do get everything tied down, the misaligned swaybar will pre-load the rear
suspension in certain ways. The alternative is to jack the rear up and using
a porta-power or a frame machine, attempt to realign the whole rear end
structure, and do it gradually such that you do not crack your paint.
Readjusting your upper brace-bar may help a little. FYI, my bars were off,
too. I pulled the bar ends around and bolted the sphere-balls down, and the
handling has not suffered. I would recommend realigning the rear wheels
afterward; any shop that can do Corvettes, can, if they wish, do Panteras.
