Excellent summary JT. I do have comment on item (1) - the WilWood
setup I bought through Wilkinson mounts the hat inboard of the hub
so there is no difference in offset. But there are kits out there
where the hat slips over the studs from the outboard side that do
affect the spacing. For those keeping score you can have WilWoods
and mount the hats in the "stock" way. You are also right on with
item (5) - my 315/35x17 Michilin was almost the same size as a 335
Dunlop in both diameter and width. Don't know what's up with that
but different makes of the same size tire *may* be different sizes,
and in this case size matters......
