Maybe- most small block Ford flywheels are interchangeable as to starter
gear and bolt pattern. But more important is, how is the new flywheel
balenced? A billet flywheel is very easy to make with no balence weights in
it at all, which would force you to have the whole engine re-balenced to
compensate. In addition, aluminum flywheels due to their lower strength, have
thicker flanges where they bolt to the crankshaft. This thickness spaces your
whole clutch backwards toward the ZF, and has caused minor problems in
getting a stock clutch to disengage. I would call McLeod and ask them. Good
luck- J DeRyke
