Subject:Help on Hyd lifters adjustment

Crane cams at http://www.cranecams.com/ has some excellent information on
how to do the adjustment. Use the crane info on how to determine that the
lifter is on the low part of the cam. Then the key is to back the lash
completely off and then let the lifter expand to its limit (wait about 30
seconds for this to happen). The next problem is to make sure when you
have tightened the rocker to zero lash before you set your desired pre load.
It is best to very lightly feel for the zero lash point rather than spinning
the push rod to detect drag has you might go past the zero lash point. It
worked for me and I have fast bleed lifters that compress super easy during
zero lash adjustment.
