When I bought my car a bit over a year ago, I drove it for 2 tanks of gas
and then decided to pull it apart. There were many nice things on the car
BUT it felt like someone had gotten in a hurry to shove it out the door. I
am now very glad I chose to take the car apart. While working on the car
last time we went to pull the rear bearings for inspection. The drivers side
nut was still on, but only  by a few threads. One more Nascar victory spin
or high speed blast and there would have been trouble.

If you are about to buy your first Pantera, please have other list members
go with you for your inspection before you buy it and then take it to a tech
session for a once over. The life you save may be your own.    :)
