Hi all,
     I used to get my tires through a Goodyear racing program.
Street tires would arrive already shaved and ready...for real
cheap.  Anyway, I still have a set of V rated "Gatorbacks".  They
have been mounted and occasionally felt the weight of an empty body
shell.  Other than that, they have just sat in the corner.  They
have never seen sunlight, but they are about 12 years old.  I
think they are most likely fine for all but the most extreme use.  Anyone 
have any thoughts on or experience with a situation like this?  Thanks.
