Ok I did it, I took Mike Royer's advice and bought the Aluminum 429 stroker
motor.
Looks like it has very similar specs to Gregg Esakoff's neat P-car power
plant. I will need new pistons to lower the compression and a bit less
duration on the cam. If all goes well , Lynnette will have a 600-650 horse,
grocery getter. If the deal goes bad the worst part will be her "I told you
so" for sending off such a big check to a person I don't know for a motor I
have never seen.
