DeTomaso Mailing List: June 2001, Message #84

Daryl - I have been watching 'Speedvision' frequently
for a few days as my cable company is currently trying
to sell additional channels and was 'Giving' it free
for a few [Weeks?] . . .  I saw the Mangusta story at
11:30 PM June 1st,  It was repeated around 7-7:30AM
the following morning - It was a very favorable E X C
E L L E N T  review . . . They briefly showed the
engine which revealed a "DeTomaso" thingy on the air
cleaner and they mentioned it was powered by a 302
based Windsor.   Said it tops out at around 140MPH.  
I have a feeling they air it fairly frequently.  It is
worth seeing.  Whole report lasted not even 5 minutes
[guess].
